• Daffodil Day is the Cancer Society's annual flagship event and one of the most important fundraising and awareness campaigns.
• The first Daffodil Day in Ireland was held in 1988, led by President of the Irish Cancer Society.
• Daffodil Day, which is now in its 25th year, has grown to become the largest single charity event in the Southern Hemisphere.
